Above are photos of the progress/steps I've taking in creating my sculpture.
The first photo is of metal wire forming the general shape of the body. Sadly as I was taking the photo, my sculptures back broke and it fell over.
The second photo was supposed to be of the tinfoil used to bulk it out, but I forgot to take a photo until after I put the take on, and it was too late. You can still see the tin foil, and the sculpture doesn't have much shape, so you can still see the process.
The third photo is of the sculpture after I put all the tape on (I didn't need that much tape I just put a bit too much), creating the form of the sculpture. It wasn't until I had all the tape on that I realised the head and neck was far too big, and I did try cutting the head off to reshape it, but the tinfoil and tape layers were too thick. I tried my best to make it smaller and more realistic, but I don't think I was too successful.

This is my sculpture after I put Modroc on it, and left it to dry for a few days.
It doesn't look the best, and it has sausage arms, and the neck/head is too big. I still think its great for my first time sculpting with materials other than clay, and it could definitely be worse. I feel I lost some of the form when putting the Modroc on as the head looks like a thumb.
I just need to clean the wooden base so it looks a little better.
Overall, I do really like my piece and think i did a great job considering the difficulties I had. If I were to do this again I would make sure the wire form is correct and all the proportions are right before moving on, and I will keep double checking the proportions and form.
